WebsiteI absolutely love the website. How did you come about to creating it? Did you hire professional help with the website design and anything else that went into creating the website? What provider to you use to host your website? Do you plan to create a blog for the website even though the Forum won? First of all, thank you!! You know, I have a secret weapon. My husband is a mad scientist. :) I did hire a designer for the look of it. A woman named Sunni Chapman came up with the feel of the site. But it was Adam, my fabulous software-developer husband, who put it all together. The man's got a stack of servers in our basement!
For me, the photography is the real soul of the site, as is the music. I've been so blessed to come across such generous and talented people, and photographer Rebecca Cusworth is first and foremost among them. She's a young Glasgow-based artist whom I discovered on a photo blog. She sells her work online, and if you ever wonder why I'm constantly touting her and giving away her work, it's because she is one of the loveliest, sweetest, and most gifted people I've encountered.
Musician Áine Minogue was also a delight to work with. I literally teared up the first time I saw the slide show on my front page, so moved was I by her beautiful music set in tandem with those evocative photos. By the way, you can find links to everyone I worked with at the bottom of my front page.
As for the blog, I don't forsee starting one. I'm having too much fun just blabbing spontaneously on the Forums! :)

Wow that is so great that you know so many nice people that helped you with this beautiful website and your forums are fun so I see why you don't really have a use for the blog at least not right now.

Thanks! Aren't the photos wonderful? I love the photographer, Becca Cusworth--so talented! And yes, I am SO excited about Warrior of the Highlands! It comes out February 2009. And then my fourth book comes out later that year.
