This is Scout, our special--and deeply-misunderstood--half-Shepherd, half-Husky rescue dog. She's disturbingly smart, but combined with all of her overprotective anxieties, she's sometimes just-plain disturbed. She's such a love with the kids, though, and was so helpful when they were babies, checking on them regularly through the night, letting me know when something was amiss. Scout Dreaming of Dingohood
