Hi Veronica I've been away, went to Lake Huron in MI to a city called Caseville. So Pretty up North, really laid back and relaxing by the water.
What is going on with Aragorn? I think Gerard Butler is a total hunk but if I had a fantasy, Aragorn is much more pleasing to me than Beowulf was. I mean come on, he stold his wife from her husband and then cheated on her how many time's. That is not a real hero to me! (my opinion, nothing against anyone who voted for Beowulf).
I am currently reading A Ladys Mischeif by Barbara Pierce.

And welcome back, Kathy! I'll definitely read one of Jasmine's books soon. I've been on a reading binge! It's been such a pleasure after a bunch of deadlines and our house move. I just finished Lisa Kleypas' Scandal in Spring (I don't think it's ever taken me longer than 24 hours to read a Kleypas novel!). I also read SEP's Heaven, Texas and Kate Perry's Project Daddy. (Kate's my critique partner and I love her writing--very breezy and witty.)

Well you should start with the book Master of Desire by Kinley MacGregor and continue with the line of books that I've posted here.
I read that book Kathy. It was great and I know your going to enjoy it a lot. I only have 2 of Jami Alden's novels but she's good from the ones that I've read.

I’m currently reading An Honorable Texan by Victoria Chancellor.
I am reading The Duke Of Shadows by Meredith Duran. This is her first book and it had great reviews from everyone. I thought I'd give it a try. I am on chapter 3 and I must say that I am already impressed.

I just read Bernard Cornwell's The Last Kingdom and LOVED it. Cornwell writes historical fiction that's very adventure/battle heavy (right up my alley!) =) This one is the first in a series based in Viking times. It's in the first-person point of view of a boy who was captured by the Vikings and was raised as their son. It was so good, I dove right into book two!!

Hi Veronica, first off I must say that I am really excited about winning the coverflat. I can hardly wait to see it. I hope this is ok with you that I plug someone elses book. As I wrote yesterday that I am reading The Duke of Shadows by Meredith Duran I must say it is one of the best books I have ever read and I am not even done yet. Veronica, knowing how much you enjoy reading books with real history in them I would HIGHLY recomend you to pick this book up. 5 stars is not high enough rating for this story. I had a really hard time putting this book down and when I did to try and go to sleep, all's I did was think about it for hours. It's hard to believe that this is her first book the talent is amazing. The people who reviewed her books on Amazon were not kidding when they praised her book. I hope you will concider reading it, you will not be disappointed.

I have have a dream to set up my own library. I am converting my married daughters bedroom into a library for me.
I have family members who send me books they have read, so I am rarely without a book to read. Altho sometimes the ones they send me go to the bottom of the TBR pile.
