Honestly Phoebe, if you'd seen me a week ago, the state of my sanity would've been debatable! :)
This is a tough one, since I feel like I'm still figuring out how to have balance in my life. I accept a lot of compromise. For example, the house is never perfect. My TBR stack is always higher than I'd like. And I'm not nearly as put-together as a lot of the other mommies on the schoolyard! I also compartmentalize a lot. Like, even if there's a stack of dishes a mile high, if it's 11:00 am, I need to be in my office working, no matter what. It helps to have a patient husband who sees a stack of dishes as a sign of a productive work day for me...
